A 7-year-old boy in Utah took his sister for a joyride in their family's car, all in search of a Happy Meal.

On the morning of April 27, police in Ogden, Utah, responded to a call of a reckless driver who appeared to be a child.

Officers found a disabled vehicle after it had crashed into a parking strip. The driver, a 7-year-old boy, and his younger sister were found unharmed nearby, police said.
An investigation revealed that the boy had driven about 10 miles from nearby Clearfield after taking a family vehicle without parental knowledge.
According to the child's mother, Whitney Bush, her son had planned to go to McDonald's.
USA TODAY tried to reach Bush for comment.
Bush mentioned waking up on April 27 to find her car and children missing before learning about the crash.
"I don't think anybody wakes up thinking their 7-year-old is going to play 'Grand Theft Auto' with their vehicle," she said.
She explained that her son was ready to go to McDonald's with money prepared, but he never reached the restaurant.
"I'm not proud of him by any means," Bush said. "He's in a world of trouble, he's probably grounded for the rest of his life."
Ogden Police stated that no charges are being pursued against the boy due to his age.
