To play Powerball, purchase a ticket for $2 at various locations, including local convenience stores, gas stations, or grocery stores. In some states, tickets can be bought online.

After obtaining a ticket, select six numbers, with five white balls numbered 1 to 69 and a red Powerball ranging from 1 to 26. Players can also opt for a "Power Play" for $1 to increase non-jackpot prizes.

The "Power Play" multiplier can boost winnings by: 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X, or 10X.

If you prefer a random selection, choose the "Quick Pick" option for computer-generated numbers on a Powerball ticket. To win the jackpot, match all five white balls in any order along with the red Powerball.

Powerball drawings occur on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday nights, with the cash prize rolling over if there's no jackpot winner.

Tickets are available for purchase in person at gas stations, convenience stores, grocery stores, and some airport terminals. Online ticket orders can be made through Jackpocket in select U.S. states and territories.
