First, let's talk about the "American Dream." It's long been thought that achieving that dream may include buying a home.

For young people, achieving homeownership is often seen as a rite of passage, a step toward becoming an adult, reports my colleague Andrea Riquier.

New data seems to suggest America is moving backward, though, not forward.

Boomers made up the largest share of home buyers last year.

You may have been hearing about the REAL ID deadline. But today is the day. If you're flying, you need a REAL ID, which has a star on your driver's license, or another acceptable form of ID in order to fly.

Burger King is in court defending the size of its popular Whopper burger.

The fast food chain is being sued in federal court by plaintiffs who say Burger King "advertises its burgers as large burgers compared to competitors" by showing them "containing oversized meat patties and ingredients that overflow over the bun to make it appear that the burgers are approximately 35% larger in size, and contain more than double the meat, than the actual burger," according to the lawsuit obtained by USA TODAY.
